A Bit About Me
I grew up in a big, blended family—both of my parents had been married and divorced before they found each other. They both had one child each before their marriage. Together, they had six more of us, making for a busy and sometimes chaotic household where attention was hard to come by. My father, despite being a felon and a struggling alcoholic, worked hard to provide for us, even after becoming entirely disabled when I was in third grade. His perseverance left a lasting impression on me.
Because we moved frequently, I had a hard time forming lasting friendships, a challenge that still follows me in some ways today. In high school, I focused on being kind to others and finding my place. I played football, ran cross-country, and participated in clubs like Fellowship of Christian Students (FCS), College Preparatory Reading (CPR), and Jobs for Arkansas’ Graduates (JAG). As the Vice-President of Guest Speaking in JAG, I connected community leaders with students, helping others discover career paths—a passion that has stayed with me.
After graduating from Mena High School in 2005, I chose to enter the workforce instead of going straight to college. Over the years, I’ve gained experience in construction (industrial, residential, and commercial), automotive, railroad, civil service (fire, law enforcement, emergency response), homeowners’ insurance, sales, business management, and marketing. Though I didn’t complete my business degree earlier in life, I am now pursuing my Associate of Business, set to graduate in May 2025, and plan to earn my Bachelor of Business by the summer of 2027.
Since my early teens, I’ve felt called to help people in their walk with Christ, but life took me on a few detours before I fully embraced that calling. A pivotal part of my journey was meeting my wife, Jordan, in 2021. We were both healing from broken marriages and hesitant to commit again. Through intentional work, faith, and guidance from New Life Church in Conway, AR, we strengthened our relationship and blended our families. On July 17, 2024, we had a small wedding at our church, a day I now wonder why I waited so long for. Jordan has played a huge role in helping me step out of the shadows of my past and into the man God has called me to be.
Today, we pursue God with everything we have, letting Him guide our finances, marriage, and daily walk. This trust in His plan is what has led me to life coaching—to help other men break free from stagnation, embrace their purpose, and walk boldly in the life God has called them to.
